Notices and circulars
Notices and circulars are two standardized means for the SVOM mission of communicating with the worldwide community about SVOM detection of transient astrophysical events, with a particular emphasis on Gamma-Ray Bursts which is the core observation program of the mission.
Notices
SVOM VOEvent notices are brief XML-formatted text files transmitting essential data from a single instrument following the on-board detection of an event. They follow the IVOA standards of VOEvent format and are designed to be processed automatically in real-time, to pursue for a potential follow-up.
The SVOM French Science Center is responsible for the automated on-ground generation and real-time public broadcast of notices for all SVOM instruments
SVOM notices are publically broadcasted to the worldiwde scientific community via the NASA/GCN Kafka service. A private SVOM VOEvent Comet broker is also accessible to the members of the SVOM collaboration. The broker address and access rights can be provided upon request to svom-admin@cea.fr

Circulars
SVOM GCN circulars are short astronomical reports of a detection by one or more instruments aboard the satellite. They are written by the so-called Burst Advocates rapidly after the alert to give the first scientific assessment of a detection. They are broadcasted publically through the NASA/GCN service.
